Toybox Cafe in Worthing town centre is a place where children can explore, play, learn, and have fun while adults can relax knowing children are always in full view. 

Serving a comforting menu of hot/cold food and drinks, the café is a place for parents to indulge whilst having something to keep their children occupied. 

As a mother of two small children, I believed it was important to have somewhere to go and encourage my 4-year-old to role play and be imaginative while supporting my 2-year-old to play well with other children before starting nursery. I found I had nowhere to go when we moved here from London so I became passionate about bringing something to Worthing that could cater to parents who were looking for something without set session times.

It is hard to find a place for me to relax with both, as their needs are so different. I love to visit play groups but sometimes want to find a moment to sit down and have a slice of cake without my children trying to steal it (We’ve all been there!).

Now approaching our 2nd Birthday at Toybox, they are 6 & 4 and love playing together at what most of our regular customers call their home from home.
